- Deliver technical solutions to clients and take responsibility for the standards of work, project sign off and client satisfaction.
- Oversee the design or build of customised architecture or applications, integrating it with new or existing hardware, packaged and custom software, and communications infrastructure.
- Interpret client requirements and decompose them into hardware and system requirements and specifications.
- Contribute expertise towards a proposed technical solution and will work with internal colleagues to define the roadmap and milestones.
- Provide pre-sales support identifying opportunities and contributing expertise around the design and configuration requirements in relation to RFP / RFI and proposals of medium complexity.
- Provide user support, assisting with troubleshooting and design, configuration and escalated problem management.
- Develop technical training materials and conduct training programs and educate engineers on basic technical details.
- Act as key project team members charged with the analysis of user and technical requirements, specifications development, solution design and development, and in some environments may consult on testing and deployment processes.
- Expected to be technology leads for specific technologies and to use their deep knowledge of these technologies to propose enhancements and improvements.
- Oversee the design or build of customized architecture or applications, integrating it with new or existing hardware, packaged and custom software, and communications infrastructure.
- Develop systems to manage and monitor the progress of integration during the project planning phase and after initiation.
- Ensure the necessary resources required during the integration phase.
- Assess and effectively manage all risks associated with the project integration.
- Develop and manage stakeholder relationships to ensure the client’s expectations are met and business growth is achieved.
- Provide stakeholders with accurate and meaningful information and conduct analytics to support management decision making.
- Knowledge and understanding of complex Enterprise IT environments and business needs
- Ability working with clients and business teams to create client-orientated solutions and services
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships

- Cisco CCNP Enterprise (formally Routing and Switching) – minimum req.
- Cisco CCIE (Enterprise Infrastructure with and Advanced Enterprise Networks Architecture Specialisation)
- Any Industry recognised cybersecurity certifications (preferred)
- Project management certification (Advantageous)
- Demonstrated and seasoned experience working with clients to understand their requirements and define appropriate solutions.
- Cisco SDA and software defined network architecture experience. (Must have)
- Detailed design and implementation of the transition of both new and existing Cisco routers and switches into the SDA fabric.
- Cisco DNA Center hands on experience, LAN automation, templating (Velocity and Jinga), fabric wireless architecture, Wide-Area Bonjour, Multicast, Trustsec, Monitoring and Analytics. (Must have)
- Cisco ISE multi-node cluster implementation knowledge. (Must have)
- Cisco 9000 catalyst switching hardware family experience, specifically 9400 and 9600 chassis switches, VSL, NSF/SSO, ISSU experience. (Must have)
- Extensive wireless networking experience in large Enterprise environments using the Cisco 9800 family of products. Experience implementing fabric enabled wireless architectures. (Must have)
- Cisco datacentre networking experience using Nexus 9K and ACI (Preferred)
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with some or all the following security product sets Cisco ASA & Firepower, Palo Alto, Checkpoint and Fortigate (Preferred)
- Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and controls (Advantageous)
- Understanding of RTLS, Cisco Spaces and other location based technologies like BLE. (Preferred)
- Experience dealing with ISP and WAN providers, physical cabling requirements (OS2, SMF), planning and delivery of such services. (Advantageous) Scripting languages (Python, Ansible, Terraform). (Advantageous)
- Demonstrated project management experience. (Advantageous)
