We have an exciting fixed-term opportunity for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join the team at Southern in the persistent pain service.Mō te tūranga - About the roleThe Clinical Psychologist will work closely with clients, their family and whanau providing advanced level assessment, intervention and evaluation of their health-related difficulties, both individually and as part of pain education and management groups.Mōu ake - About youIdeally:Candidates should be knowledgeable and experienced in working with complex needs clients and able to demonstrate excellent assessment, formulation, treatment planning and therapy skills. Experience working with clients with physical health problems and using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy would also be desirable.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for this position will hold a master's degree along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology. You will need to be a registered Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists Board, as well as hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate.Painga - Benefits
