He angitūtanga: The opportunityTe Manawa delivers an integrated service for customers to access library services, creative facilities, community programmes, bookable spaces, and customer services all under one roof.In this role you will have the opportunity to develop and deliver a range of Pasifika-centric library programmes and work closely with our Pasifika communities. In addition, you will also support the delivery of our regular library programmes for children, youth and their whānau. You will be an advocate for the Pasifika voice and develop key relationships in the Henderson Massey Pasifika community.You'll provide a level of customer service that is second to none and proactively embrace current, new, and emerging technology and support customers and staff to successfully use information resources and devices.This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday. Te Manawa is open seven days a week so flexibility around working hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays is required.He kōrero mōu: About youYou are innovative, confident, and willing to learn and 'give it a go'. You are fluent in a Pasifika language and have an interest in designing new programmes to connect with our Pasifika community. You will have an interest in working with children, youth and their whānau.A collaborative team member, you're willing to advocate internally for the needs and expectations of Pasifika as customers.
