We are an independent New Zealand mobile towers and passive infrastructure business based in the Auckland CBD. We operate a nationwide portfolio of over 2,350 mobile sites and are responsible for building and densifying our network of mobile towers across New Zealand to enable 5G and future mobile technology rollouts. Our customers are Spark New Zealand, 2degrees and other mobile network providers who install active radio equipment on our towers.Connexa is owned by Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board (OTPP) as a majority shareholder (83%) and Spark New Zealand Limited retains a 17% interest.We are currently looking for a Test Analyst to join our IT Project team in a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. As the Test Analyst at Connexa, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications and systems through comprehensive testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements, develop test plans, execute test cases, and report on test results.The role will be based in our Auckland CBD office close to Victoria Park Market and City Works Depot. Due to the nature of stakeholder engagement we require a minimum of 4 days a week in the office with flexibility of 1 day remote.You’ll be joining a fast-growing team in a newly established company where you’ll play a key role in shaping the ways of working and co-creating the culture.Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze software requirements to create test plans and test cases
Execute test cases and identify and report defects
Conduct regression testing to ensure software functionality remains intact after changes
Collaborate with developers to understand and resolve issues
Create and maintain documentation of test cases, test results, and defects
Participate in software release activities and provide support for production issues

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of software testing experience, preferably with Salesforce applications
Proficiency in agile software testing methodologies
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Self-management, time management, and teamwork abilities
Commitment to enhancing QA practices throughout the software development lifecycle
Responsible for maintaining test records, managing defects, and tracking them to resolution
Expertise in developing manual test procedures
Ability to design and execute test scenarios aligned with Acceptance Criteria
Skilled in collaborating with developers to address and resolve defects
Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical abilities
Understanding of software QA processes and methodologies
Knowledge of web user interface design and UX principles
