People come and stay at SeaLink – because of “one boat, one team” we might have all arrived on different ships, but we are all on the same boat together.About the opportunity:This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Forklift Operator / Storeman to come and join our East Tamaki team. This role would suit someone who has experience being a night / linehaul loader and is able to load and unload a wide selection of objects. We are looking for our next experienced super star Forklift / Storeman to load & unload our Trucks & Trailers Monday – Friday’s, with the occasional Saturday as required.You will have the opportunity to thrive alongside a supportive and cohesive team. If you take pride in your presentation and teamwork, and you have a natural ability to provide a good level of customer service coupled with a strong work ethic then read on.RequirementsTo be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

Forklift licence along with an ‘F’ endorsement (desirable)
Loading trailers & trucks in a safe & timely fashion
Class 1 or higher truck licence (desirable)
Dangerous Goods Certificate (desirable)
Proven experience as a Forklift Operator/Loader
Good command of reading and understanding of all documentation
Logistics / warehousing experience
Sound knowledge and understanding of safe strapping / securing of all freight onto the Trucks & Trailers
Demonstrate sound decision making and time management
Ability to be calm when under pressure or in complicated situations
Reliable transport to start at 5am in the morning
