Do you want to be part of the success story?We have an exciting opportunity that have become available to join a talented, highly motivated and engaged team as a Business Development Consultant based in either Wellington, Palmerston North or from our Napier office.The purpose of this role is to support client and intermediated enquiries that align with policy processing transactions. Contribute to solutions that will deliver customer retention and growth strategies whilst supporting our Customer's needs & providing an exceptional customer experience. Ensure timely and efficient policy and underwriting advice to colleagues to facilitate efficient policy processing and credit control within service expectations. Support policy processing and credit control activities as required.Key Responsibilities

Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience of working within the insurance industry is a must, intermediary base and Commercial & or Rural insurance experience
  • Previous experience with Suncorp NZ systems and processes e.g. Solvit, Committ,
  • Knowledge on Intermediaries
  • Computer skills e.g. Multiple applications Excel, Word
  • Coaching and training skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Legislation
  • Risk Evaluation
