Our security practice provides specialist guidance, services and education in cyber, information and physical security both in NZ and Australia.Reporting into our Practice Lead of Technical Testing, the role is a client facing role and as such it carries a client delivery and consulting responsibility. It has a primary role for delivery of technical testing and analysis services to our Fujitsu clients.This role will be expected to be conversant with common testing techniques and processes and to also incorporate the specialist threat hunting tools and techniques. The primary outcome for this role will be the identification of security vulnerabilities and risks within client environments.Furthermore this role will see you:
  • Penetration testing (Network, Wi-Fi, Web Application, Mobile Application, etc.)
  • Configuration, Firewall, and code reviews
  • Architectural design reviews and vulnerability assessments
  • Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) gathering and reconnaissance activities
  • Threat research and threat hunting
  • Threat intelligence integration into managed services
  • Risk assessment and development of recommendations
  • Assist with the preparation of pre-sales and sales collateral and documentation
  • Assist with management of revenue targets and other performance measures
  • Identification of resource and capability requirements
To be successful in this role we are looking for:
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and initial experience in penetration testing, application security testing, IT forensics, or other security auditing areas (must hold a Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
  • Solid basic knowledge of IT infrastructure and cloud and/or software / applications development.
  • Basic to intermediate coding skills (ability to read and write scripts would be ideal).
  • Familiarity with security tools such as Tenable Nessus, CrowdStrike Falcon, and Burp Suite is preferred.
  • University degree in computer science, or comparable training, or further education is desired.
  • You like to go on a journey of discovery to learn new things and master challenges within a small team.
  • Your explanations effectively resonate with both technical professionals and management teams.
