To learn more about our beautiful hometown please clickWe are looking for a Consultant Radiologist with a specialist interest in Breast imaging to join us at the Te Tai Tokerau Radiology service located at Whangārei HospitalAbout the role:You will be part of a passionate and innovative multi-disciplinary breast service team in a purpose-built clinic supported by surgeon's, specialist breast care nurses, medical imaging technologists' sonographers, community and administrative teams.The role could include both symptomatic and screening breast work and can include General radiology (another subspecialty may also be considered).The purpose-built breast centre is well equipped with two Digital Mammography units including tomosynthesis and tomosynthesis biopsy and ultrasound. Services include Multi-modality reporting & intervention including Digital Mammography with Tomosynthesis, Vacuum Assisted Biopsy, Ultrasound & Stereotactic biopsy Hook wire localisation & clip placement, triple assessment and weekly MDT meetingsOur people live our Values:
