- Maximizing the value of the product and the increments developed by the engineering team.
- Creating high quality product backlog items like themes, epics, and user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria, ensuring their value is clearly communicated.
- In partnership with the team leader, effectively prioritize the items in the product backlog whilst maintaining alignment with the product roadmap, strategy, and organizational goals.
- Developing a deep understanding of Henry Schein One's business objectives, customers, product portfolio, and competition - through user research, market analysis, and other design thinking activities.
- Applying product development and ownership discipline to a highly technical product including: tightening product feedback loops including MVP, accelerating lead time for changes and deployment frequency, and analyzing customer feedback and product usage to adapt the product to customers' needs.
- Work with the Head of Product, Product Manager, and other Product Owners to research concepts/ideas to decide on value and scope.
- Make day-to-day product or requirements-related decisions based on analytical and critical thinking - by gathering information, properly defining the problem, identifying solution options, analyzing trade-offs, selecting the best direction, and defining criteria for evaluating the results.

- You have solid experience in product development of strategic, creative, and user-centric solutions to complex problems.
- You have a wide range of product design skills: user research, brainstorming, concept design, detailed design, rapid prototyping, and usability testing.
- You have experience in stakeholder management and the ability to negotiate and influence decisions.
- You have strong decision-making skills. You can make informed decisions and take calculated risks through data analysis and alignment with the product strategy.
- You have experience with the full product lifecycle - from ideation to launch, then iterating to constantly innovate and deliver value.
- You understand Agile methodologies like Scrum and the Product Owner role.
- You have excellent communication skills. You can explain complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical teams. You ask engaging questions that help hash out the “why” behind technical decisions.
- You have a strong sense of urgency. You are comfortable in putting pressure on yourself and your team for timely results.
- You have experience in working effectively through ambiguity, uncertainty, and evolving requirements.
- You have the proven ability to say ‘no’ and focus on the important problems to solve.
