The work is based in the larger hospital, which boasts a full range of secondary medical and surgical services. As the Infectious Diseases Registrar, you will be an integral part of a team committed to improving patient care outcomes in the fields of infectious diseases and general medicine. The infectious diseases registrar position is accredited for non-core Infectious Diseases training, or core training for General Medicine advanced trainees.Responsibilities
- Provide Infectious Diseases services
- Participate in the on-call general medicine roster.
- Contribute to this hospital's wider medical team as an active and collaborative member.
- Partake in 6 months of General Medicine or subspeciality rotations.
- Medical Degree
- PGY3+
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or be eligible for general or provisional general registration
- A RACP Advance or Basic Trainee
- Salary: NZD 113,000-195,0006 weeks annual leave
