Our client, an established public sector healthcare provider, is seeking a motivated and experienced Infectious Diseases Registrar. This is a chance to contribute and grow in a dynamic hospital known for redesigning its service delivery and expanding the range of specialist fields offered.Company Overview
Our client is a highly respected provider in the public health sector. Providing crucial healthcare services to a regional population, it's composed of two hospitals. The work is based in the larger hospital, which boasts a full range of secondary medical and surgical services. The culture promotes dynamism, high-quality medical services, and comprehensive medical education.Position Overview
As the Infectious Diseases Registrar, you will be an integral part of a team committed to improving patient care outcomes in the fields of infectious diseases and general medicine. The infectious diseases registrar position is accredited for non-core Infectious Diseases training, or core training for General Medicine advanced trainees.Responsibilities
  • Provide Infectious Diseases services
  • Participate in the on-call general medicine roster.
  • Contribute to this hospital's wider medical team as an active and collaborative member.
  • Partake in 6 months of General Medicine or subspeciality rotations.
Requirements
  • Medical Degree
  • PGY3+
  • Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or be eligible for general or provisional general registration
  • A RACP Advance or Basic Trainee
