As a Registrar in Rural and Remote Medicine, you will provide critical healthcare services across various hospitals in the Northland region, from Whangarei to Dargaville and Bay of Islands to Kaitaia. You will be part of a team that meets unique medical challenges head-on in a unique and rugged environment, contributing directly to the health and wellbeing of local communities.Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality medical care within your scope of practice and expertise.
  • Participate actively in the comprehensive training programme provided by our client.
  • Contribute to ensuring equitable health outcomes for Māori as Tāngata Whenua.
  • Work closely with the consultant in charge to continuously grow your skillset.
  • Foster an active and respectful relationship with the communities you serve.
Requirements
  • Medical Degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience (PGY3+).
  • Eligibility for general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
  • Ability to work within an active clinical training programme and a commitment to academic training components and required courses.
