Mercy Breast Clinic in Epsom specialises in the assessment and treatment of breast health concerns for women and men. We journey with our patients from imaging, testing and diagnosis, to surgical interventions if needed, all in one place.Our uniquely specialised clinic requires an experienced Reception Team Leader to manage support and develop its already fantastic team of medical receptionists as they provide first class customer service and patient care.While experience in a healthcare setting is important, it will be your proven ability to lead, organise and empower your team that will set you up to flourish in this roleKey responsibilities include:
  • Lead, support and develop a team of medical receptionists
  • Be involved in recruitment, selection and training of new reception staff
  • Motivate & empower the team through performance appraisal & coaching
  • Manage staff rosters and submit timesheets
  • Oversee invoicing & processing of payments and other administrative duties
To be successful in this role you'll have:
  • Proven record of effective team leadership
  • Previous experience in medical administration or reception
  • Excellent IT skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with and between staff, patients & referrers
  • High level of professionalism, personal presentation and accountability
