Riviera Prenail specializes in the design and manufacturing of timber frame and truss to a variety of clients throughout the Auckland region. We offer fantastic buying/discount privileges through our Mitre 10 and Columbus Café business and offer opportunities for career development and advancement.About this role:Ensure jobs are correctly costed and that manufacturing production is uninterrupted to ensure the highest quality, error free product to our customers within the timeframes required to achieve targets and comply with NZ3604.About you:

National Certificate in Frame and Truss Manufacturing or a Qualification in Quantity Surveying (desired, but not essential)
Experience in the building supplies or frame and truss sectors
Have an understanding of construction methodology
Experience with lean manufacturing methodology and continuous improvement ideologies
Knowledge of MiTek Software
Knowledge of NZS3604:2011
Full class 1 New Zealand driver's license
Available to fulfil a permanent, full-time (45 hours per week), Monday to Friday position (with occasional weekend work.

Your duties:

Managing the costing, reports, and quotations on a range of residential and commercial building projects
Produce high quality plans, costing sheets and manual drawings
Management and ownership of quotations ensuing a high level of accuracy of pricing
Ensure profitability while still complying with NZ3604
Ensure interruptions to production are minimized.
Working with internal Project Managers, Details, external Buildings Architects, Designers and Engineers as required to ensure excellence
