We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant/ Manager to join the Business Advisory team in our Gore office.Findex is building an agile workplace. With a presence across Australia & New Zealand, Findex is now seeking a new generation of talent.What will your typical week look like?This role is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of client engagement are running smoothly with a strong focus on client delivery. Our Family Office approach will allow you to provide more personalised advice to our clients, ensuring greater independence and client contact.

Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for clients, use your strong technical skills including working knowledge of income tax, company tax, GST, FBT, trusts, management accounting and reporting requirements.
Assist in preparing business advice and/or producing complex special purpose reports, annual financial statements, tax returns and reconciliations.
The ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
Proactive attitude, self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
Manage, coordinate and delegate client work to team members with an appropriate level of capability to ensure team targets are met
Drive retention by empowering and nurturing team members to develop their capability and deliver exceptional performance
Mentor and coach junior staff team members

Proven accounting experience within public practice
CA or CPA qualification or be working towards this (desirable)
Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
Committed to maintain your accreditation, expanding industry and professional knowledge
Fantastic people skills with an ability to support and lead others, and a passion for accounting and business advisory services
