Employment Type: Full-time Permanent
Days Required: Mondays to Fridays and may include night shifts and weekends depending on the job orders
Hours: Minimum guaranteed hours of $60-90 hours per fortnight
Hourly Rate or Salary band: $29.66 - $32.00 per hourDairy Farm assistant required for a 600-cow farm in Te Awamutu
The applicant will need to undertake farm duties confidently. Those duties include, but not restricted to assisting in milking, maintaining milking plant hygiene, calving and calf rearing, learning to be proactive with animal health, weed spraying, operating and maintaining farm machinery, general farm work and other duties as required.Needs to have good communication skills, health and safety conscious, physically fit and drug free. Must be hard working, honest, reliable work attendance and excellent time management.Training will be provided for the qualified applicant.
