Job Description We are looking for a new team member with at least 2 years Dairy Farm experience to join our farm for the 24/25 season. Located only 20 minutes west of Whangarei, we share-milk 420 cows (at peak) in a 26 AS herringbone shed. It is a system 2/3 with flat to rolling country and all spring calving. Milk TAD through spring, going on OAD from mid-end December. We work closely with the farm owners so although the position mostly involves day to day running of the farm, tasks can vary. Most of our younger stock are grazed off farm. Being good with stock and competent with machinery is a must. You will be fit, motivated, drug free, have a positive attitude and be willing to learn. You will be confident to complete jobs on your own as well as be able to work as a team. We encourage further learning such as Primary ITO courses.
