Job Description We are looking to secure a competent Farm Assistant / Herd Manager for the coming season (can start earlier if that is suitable). In this role, you will be working along side the Sharemilker assisting with the day-to-day farming operation. We are a seasonal farm, with a peak herd size of 350. We're coming up to our second season using Halter (no more having to setup break fences).Our ideal candidate may have the following experience & skills ...
- Have basic dairy farming knowledge (at least 1 season under their belt).
- Quiet and calm with stock.
- Confident communicator; verbal, written, numeracy.
- Competently ride a two-wheel motorbike.We offer flexibility regarding the roster swings and remuneration will reflect your experience.
