This exciting opportunity arises from a strong pipeline of new project wins and significant ongoing programs such as Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (Riverlink) and Eastern Busway Alliance (EBA).We're looking for a pavement design specialist with technical depth, leadership capability, and a drive to support both design delivery and construction-phase services (MSQA/CPS) across a variety of transport infrastructure projects.How you'll make a difference

Lead and deliver pavement design packages for a range of small to large-scale multi-disciplinary projects across New Zealand and Australia, ensuring technical quality and practical constructability.
Provide construction-phase support, including technical design advice, MSQA oversight, and CPS inspections, with a focus on active projects such as Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (Riverlink) and the Eastern Busway Alliance (EBA).
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure consistent, high-quality deliverables while managing multiple priorities, meeting tight deadlines, and supporting tender pursuits with pavement expertise.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust through reliable delivery, open communication, and a deep understanding of project and stakeholder needs.

Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) with 10+ years' experience in pavement design, and CPEng registered or working towards it (required).
Proficient in pavement modelling and delivery, with expertise in CIRCLY 7 (required) and AustPADS (preferred), and a strong command of NZTA and Austroads guidelines.
Skilled in MSQA and CPS inspections, with a solid foundation in quality assurance processes and construction-phase support.
Effective communicator and team collaborator, with strong time management, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
