You will be joining a tight knit team of motivated and driven finance professionals based in Auckland. You will be involved with:

Accounting – Processing and reporting of accounting transactions and processes to ensure Voyager finances are maintained in a timely, effective and accurate manner.
Financial statements – Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial statements.
Reporting and analysis – Providing insights into revenue and expenses to help the business make decisions.
Tax, compliance and payroll – Ensure Voyager meets its compliance requirements and deadlines.
Administration - Ensure all administrative duties are completed efficiently to ensure the Finance team has robust processes in place.

About YouWe are looking for an experienced team player with a bachelor’s degree with Accounting/Finance/Commercial Law majors preferred, as well as a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (or similar) or someone working towards this qualification. You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounting role preparing financial statements, with exposure to, and understanding of, indirect taxes such as PAYE, GST and FBT. Payroll preparation experience is preferred but not essential.Combined with:

Experience in accounting information systems (preferably Xero)
Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Strong working knowledge of applicable NZ legislation and tax regulations
Excellent accounting, finance and analytical skills
Advanced MS Excel
Intermediate Power BI/Power Query/Power Automate (preferred)
