- Monthly reporting on CIL (Heineken reporting tool) for DB Group.
- Is the subject matter expert on financial reporting and technical accounting , providing guidance to the wider business when required.
- The role maintains the SAP hierarchies, general ledger accounts and cost centres to ensure they are aligned to global standards. The role is also responsible for period end close off, of the general ledger in SAP.
- Owner of the balance sheet reconciliation matrix of 3 entities (ensuring that the balance sheet reconciliations are prepared to the appropriate standard and prepared on a timely basis. Tool used is BSAR (An add on to SAP)
- Completion of indirect taxes for DB Brewery and its JV.
- Support the treasury and asset accounting analyst
- Key contact for the year- end external audit, including the preparation of the consolidated statutory accounts for DB Breweries.
- Responsible for performing and reviewing key internal controls as required by the Heineken Global internal control framework.
- It is a key role for implementation of global projects and priorities which includes locally leading the adaption of new IFRS accounting standards and new Heineken reporting policies.
- CA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
- Understanding of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Technical financial accounting experience (e.g., CA firm, group accountant, or financial accountant in a large, complex business, ideally multinational)
- Proficient in Ms. Excel and other Ms. Offices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail.
