- Manage the receipt, processing, and completion of complex vetting requests or high-risk matters that have been escalated for review.
- Manages responses to Parliamentary Questions, Official Information Act and Privacy Act requests, as well as IPCA complaints and agency requests for information in an accurate and timely manner.
- Keep abreast of changes in legislation and Police policies and recommend required changes in practices and procedures within the Police Vetting Service.
- Understand privacy concerns and legislative changes to meet relevant statutory obligations where appropriate.
- Demonstrates appropriate leadership, coaching, and mentoring practices to facilitate individual and team development.
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and an ability to analyse information and draw appropriate conclusions in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain a wide range of positive and collaborative working relationships.
