Join us today and experience Life at Visa.Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility of an Application Support Analyst is to provide initial technical triage and investigation as well as in-depth product knowledge of the Visa Spend Clarity for Enterprise (VSCE) products and services.VSCE Operations and Infrastructure is a global team providing infrastructure, reliability, and operational services to support our partners and products. The support team is spread across New Zealand, Canada, England, and the US. The group provides 24-hour support services with the key areas of focus being; Infrastructure, Site Reliability, Database Administration, Application and Data Services Support.This role will require the successful candidate to work closely with the various Client Services teams across the globe as well as relevant product and development teams to investigate and address application issues. You will need to have strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills to identify workarounds, data fixes and provide communication updates to our clients and partners.In the VSCE O&I Application Support Team, you will be part of an ever-changing product environment with multiple layers of complexity and a vast array of interesting features. You will be working with some incredible people on new product features, testing new methods and ideas to improve the product and customer experience. You will be working alongside the Product development teams to review and test new items being deployed in the quarterly releases.You will need to work with security and compliance teams to make sure that we are up to date with the latest regulatory and security standards.We are on a journey to move several features of our products to the cloud; you will gain experience in AWS and Azure as we continue this journey.We need you to help us improve, the team is always looking for new ways to improve our own processes and those of others around us, you will be encouraged to think out the box and start up your own initiatives and projects to help with this approach.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.QualificationsTo be successful in this role you will need
  • Proven technical application troubleshooting experience in production environments.
  • Knowledge of web protocols and infrastructure (HTTP, Firewalls, Public Key Infrastructure).
  • Experience performing source code debugging.
  • Microsoft Technologies including SQL Server, Visual Studio, XML, and XSL.
  • Experience with Microsoft programming languages for example C#.
  • Strong individual accountability.
  • Ability to convey complex ideas to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple individuals from different technical backgrounds towards a common goal.
Not required but will be a plus
  • HTML, CSS, web standards, JavaScript, React, Angular.
  • Transactional systems e.g. banking, finance, telecommunications, etc.
  • Experience with Cloud/SaaS environments.
  • Experience with ITIL.
  • Experience working with teams across multiple time zones.
  • Ideally tertiary qualified with appropriate Microsoft or other certifications.
