• 40 hour week plus on call duties

• Manage in patients and out patients
• Assess and treat acute presentations and chronic conditions
• Provide specialist opinion to other departments
• Mentor junior medical staff attached to the service.
• Participate in the on call rota

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians or equivalent.
• Eligible for an Annual Practising Certificate with a vocational scope of General Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Commitment to teamwork, patient-centred care, and continuous professional development.
