- People Leadership - Lead and support a senior team of cloud platform engineers - coaching, mentoring, and driving performance and development. You'll manage people processes like goal setting and performance reviews, while fostering a positive, high-performing team culture
- Strategy and Roadmap - Define and execute the team's strategic vision, aligning priorities with business goals. You'll own the team roadmap, balancing developer experience, platform stability, and scalability - keeping projects on track and delivering impact
- Infrastructure and Automation - Guide the design and delivery of scalable, reliable infrastructure for our global POS SaaS platform, with a strong focus on automation to improve deployment, monitoring, and operations
- Collaboration and Communication - Work across engineering, product, and SRE teams to align on platform initiatives. You'll lead cross-team projects and keep stakeholders informed through clear, proactive communication
- Proven experience working independently across multiple projects and workstreams, with minimal oversight
- A strong track record of delivering successful projects through high-performing teams
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and GCP
- Expertise in infrastructure as code, with a focus on automation and operational efficiency
- Experience setting long-term objectives and providing clear technical and team leadership
- Demonstrated success in improving cross-functional processes that go beyond the boundaries of a single team
