The products we assemble on their behalf are used for a wide variety of purposes, including many high-dependency applications including aerospace, military, medical, marine, transportation, sports measurement and industrial controllers.About the role:As a Quality Assurance Officer at Triode Group Ltd, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations while driving continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations. You will lead efforts to implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS), conduct audits, oversee quality control measures, and spearhead improvement initiatives to optimize processes and deliver high-quality electronic solutions.Your responsibilities will include:Maintain QMS in accordance with ISO standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.Plan and conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards, identify areas for improvement, and drive corrective actions.Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to evaluate supplier quality performance, conduct supplier audits, and implement corrective actions as necessary.Establish and maintain procedures to inspect and verify the quality of raw materials and components used in manufacturing processes.Implement measures to monitor and verify the quality of manufacturing processes, including surface mount assembly, through-hole assembly, and conformal coating.Develop and implement procedures to ensure the reliability and performance of finished products, including functional testing and inspection protocols.Lead investigations to identify the underlying causes of quality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions, and prevent recurrence.Maintain accurate documentation of quality procedures, inspection records, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.Provide training and support to employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to promote a culture of quality excellence.Drive initiatives to enhance quality processes, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing efficiency.Qualifications and Experience:Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality assurance role, ideally in the electronics manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and regulatory requirements.Experience with quality tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).If you are passionate about quality excellence and driving continuous improvement, we invite you to join our team and be part of our journey towards excellence in electronic manufacturing solutions.To apply, please submit your CV and cover letter today.Entitlement to work NZ is a must.
