This is your chance to work at the forefront of IP law, on high-impact matters for local and international clients.What We're Looking For:You'll ideally bring 4+ years PQE and proven experience advising on a broad range of IP matters. Most importantly, you'll be intellectually curious, commercially minded, and passionate about delivering outstanding work in both contentious and non-contentious IP.Your experience will include:
  • Advising on trade mark strategy, clearance, filing, and global portfolio management
  • Brand protection, anti-counterfeiting, and anti-piracy measures
  • Marketing, advertising, and labelling compliance- including greenwashing and other claims review
  • Handling disputes before IPONZ and in the High Court involving copyright, trade marks, designs, passing off and breaches of the Fair Trading Act
  • IP litigation and enforcement strategies
  • Drafting and negotiating IP licences and commercialisation agreements
  • Conducting IP audits, due diligence, and supporting major transactions
