We're currently looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team and support our clients with precision machining and production work.As a CNC Programmer you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components in accordance with engineering specifications and production schedules.Key Responsibilities:Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD filesCreate CNC programs using appropriate softwareSet up CNC machines and select appropriate tools for machiningMonitor and adjust machine settings to ensure quality outputConduct quality checks and measurements of finished partsTroubleshoot issues and make modifications to improve efficiency or qualityMaintain machines and tools, ensuring they operate safely and effectivelyCollaborate with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines and standards * Not afraid to get your hands dirt and Supporting machinists with general workshop dutiesRequirements:Proven experience as a CNC Programmer (minimum 2-3 years preferred)Strong understanding of machining techniques and CNC programming softwareExcellent attention to detail and quality control standardsGood communication skills and a strong work ethicMust have a valid visa or New Zealand residencyAll Applicants will have to pass a Drug Screen and MOJ Check, Please feel free to apply online or send your cv to hawkesbay@awf.co.nz
