Job Description Reporting to the Farm Manager, we are seeking a diligent and motivated team members to perform a variety of tasks and support our farm operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for agriculture, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in the agricultural sector and contribute to the success of the farm.
Key responsibilities include:

Milking cows
Handling stock
Feeding out
Identifying animal health issues and treating
Assisting with calving and calf rearing
Operating and maintaining farm equipment and machinery
Assisting with weed control
Operating and maintaining the farm effluent system
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of farm buildings and equipment
Maintaining fences and tracks
Following health and safety and environmental procedures

Key requirements:

Previous experience in farming
A passion for the agricultural industry
Demonstrated aptitude for learning
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate farm equipment and machinery
Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in various weather conditions
Good written and verbal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed
A full driver's license to be able to pick up farm supplies
Be able to pass a drug test
Be able to pass a police vetting check

There is on-farm shared single person accommodation available for the right candidate.
There is guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week up to a maximum of $45 per week.
