DataTalk are regarded as one of the major authorities in design, installation, and support of electronic security systems with a philosophy of high standards with no compromise for quality.About the role:DataTalk are a dynamic team of 13, dedicated to delivering expertise, knowledge, and tailored solutions to their clients. We are currently in search of a Security Manager who embodies these values. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with outstanding interpersonal abilities and a talent for cultivating new business prospects while maintaining existing client relationships. As part of the DataTalk team, you will collaborate with highly skilled security engineers and will engage with corporate clients across various sectors, including Local Government, Hospitals, Airports, and Petrochemical industries, as well as:Promote, sell, and secure orders from existing and potential customersDemonstrate products/services and assist in selecting those best suited to the customers' needsMaintain positive relationships with customers and any prospectsProvide completion documentation, quotes and proposals to clientsDesign and maintain security schematics and documentationComplete project invoicing and supervise the security teamManage vendor relationships and assist with installations as neededOrder materials and organise daily work schedulesMaintain and train on the latest security technologies and regulationsCoordinate projects, ensure quality workmanship, manage the budget and ensure the customer is satisfiedThis is a full-time role working Monday to Friday.The ideal Security Manager:Experience in Sales, Account Management, Business Development and/or Project Management desirablePrevious experience in Electrical IT or Security experience desirableKnowledge of the below systems advantageous:o Gallagher Access Control Systemso Milestone Video Management Systems (VMS)o Pelcoo CCTV / Network Security Camera Systemso Security Alarm SystemsThe ability to build strong relationshipsEnjoys a varied roleTechnically minded and a keen problem solverProven ability to liaise effectively and professionally with a varied client baseA people person with solid interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a close knit, diverse teamA great sense of humour!If you have the skills mentioned and want to join a passionate local business that celebrates its team, then apply now via the link or send your CV directly to georgia@peoplepassion.co.nz
