Linemarking Engineer

- Respond promptly to reported issues and emergencies related to pavement or linemarking failures liasing with Pavements or Linemarking Asset Manager.
- Conduct on-site inspections to assess the extent of the problem and identify the necessary repairs or remediation actions.
- Coordinate with crews, contractors, and other personnel to implement timely and effective solutions.
- Planning and programming of tasks into PLASMA with required photo books and other required documentation.
- Weekly meeting with TTM Planning team for updating of PLASMA and coordination of tasks.
- Coordination with Pavements Supervisor on weekly programme.
- Coordinate and manage the execution of renewal projects, including procurement, contractor selection, and construction supervision.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful completion.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to gather input, address concerns, and ensure alignment throughout the renewal process.
- Communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders through meetings, presentations, and reports.
- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate successful project implementation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards in each asset.
- Develop and implement HSQE programs, conducting risk assessments, monitoring safety and environmental performance, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Identify potential safety hazards and risks associated with works.
- Establish safety procedures, guidelines, and best practices to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with applicable health and safety regulations.
- Implement appropriate safety measures and safeguards.
- Completion of Value for money spreadsheet detailing Forecast / Actual against No completed.
- Input information into ASM Monthly report in conjunction with Delivery Manager.
- Be able to work shift work where required.
- Including day/night shifts
- Be on call 24/7 for their respective project.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of project sites.
- Identify safety deficiencies, non-compliance issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Address safety findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Continuously drive innovation with the teams looking for smarter, faster ways of undertaking works on the motorway network.
- Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2+ years in a similar role.
- Proven organisational and planning skills.
- Ideally Knowledge of paving and line marking processes.
