This remote working role will enable us to continue providing top quality services and provide best of life care to our residents.The key purpose of the this remote Registered Nurse role is to provide online/video and phone remote clinical support to facility employees (primarily Caregivers or Registered Nurses). The role will be a permanent full time role covering a rotational shift pattern across morning, afternoon and night shifts.Job Description:As a registered nurse in the NCS team you will provide remote clinical escalation pathways for villages including evidenced based and best practice clinical reviews, clinical teaching, and management of incidents, risks and events.Some of your responsibilities will include:Provide timely, high quality clinical advice based on evidence and best practice.Effectively communicate assessment findings and provide advice to the in-centre teamProvide input into a resident care plans in collaboration with the in-centre team.Provide coaching, education and training as indicated to other staff regarding the management of residents.Qualifications:To be considered a suitable candidate for our role you will bring the following:New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate.Minimum three years’ experience in settings relevant to older people and aged residential care.Trained as a preceptor or willing to undertake formal preceptor training.Additional Information:To recognise the important work that you do for our residents, we offer many great benefits such as:An enthusiastic and supportive team that is fun to be part ofWeekend rates of an additional 40 percent of the hourly rateTime and one half for all work or shifts over 8 hours in a dayHealth cover (if applicable), social sporting teams, meal allowances, clothing allocation and discounts at a range of suppliers plus much moreWe offer career progression and support for those looking to develop their skills further in the aged care industry.If you, or someone you know, are strong enough to care, then we would love to hear from you.Due to NZ Immigration requirements, we are obliged to consider candidates that already have the right to work in NZ for this role first.
