As a Solutions Sales Specialist you will develop Services opportunities within existing accounts, as well as taking services solutions to market for net new clients to Insight. You will be able to represent Insight services value proposition to a mix of accounts, from SMB to mid-market and public sector.The primary function of Solutions Sales Specialist is to grow consulting services opportunities. This includes taking opportunities to closure and expanding opportunities to the breadth of Insights services portfolio.Some of your day-to-day activities will include:
- Growing services GP directly via working with Technology Account Managers in existing and new accounts
- Managing the services relationship within your assigned territory
- Developing and closing sales opportunities on your own and/or in coordination with Insight Account Managers
- Completing and executing account plans to sell to non - services buying accounts, further penetrate existing buying accounts and develop net new account opportunities
- Conducting and delivering professional sales presentations on Insight’s value proposition and Insight’s capabilities specific to services
- Identifying and creating new consulting services engagement opportunities for Insight’s services delivery team
- Engaging with Insight Practice Managers and PTS partners to drive new business initiatives
- Establishing and maintaining strong vendor relationships with key partners in their territory, notably Microsoft
- Attending local key partner events and training sessions
- Maintaining awareness of all Insight consulting services practice offerings
- Solid understanding of how technology supports an organisation’s objectives (eg. CyberSecurity compliance, Business Continuity Planning, Customer Experience, Digital Transformation).
- Experienced working with Technical and Business Stakeholders to reach outcomes
- Demonstrable experience selling: Cloud Migration + Infrastructure Modernisation; Modern Workplace (EUC/Desktop, Collaboration); IT Managed Services
- Strong relationship with MSFT and understanding of Microsoft’s Partner ecosystem
