Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the roleTe Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting for International Admission Officers. These 6-month fixed-term, full-time roles are responsible for assessing international student applications, making an admission decision, and communicating the outcome. These positions play an important part of the international student recruitment and conversion process. A high level of accuracy, attention to detail with exceptional customer service is essential for being successful in this role.Key responsibilities:
Specialist admissions assessment and advice.
Data management and reporting.
Relationship management with stakeholders.

Key requirements:
Demonstrated work experience in admissions and enrolment of international students with an education provider.
Well-developed organisational abilities, demonstrating initiative in work planning activities and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines, often with competing demands, in a large and complex organisation.
Demonstrated experience in the provision of timely and accurate advice to a range of customers and other stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal, networking, relationship building and communication skills to enable working with a diverse range of people and cultures, and at a variety of levels.
Demonstrated experience of providing administrative and/or project support and managing electronic records.
Proven ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team and demonstrated commitment to contributing to a positive team environment.
Proven ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
