Do you enjoy being the first point of contact and making a positive impression on behalf of an organisation?We are seeking a Frontline Station Support Officer to join our newly established in-house reception and access control team at Police National Headquarters (PNHQ). This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality front-of-house services and ensuring a safe, welcoming, and secure environment for all visitors and staff.Reporting to the Team Leader - Frontline Station Support, you'll be part of a small, dedicated team supporting the transition from contracted services to a professional in-house model.Key Accountabilities:
  • Provide a professional and welcoming reception service for all visitors, contractors, and staff.
  • Manage building access protocols, including issuing access cards and verifying entry permissions.
  • Maintain accurate records and support administrative tasks related to visitor management and security.
  • Collaborate with the Team Leader and wider National Command and Coordination Centre (NCCC) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold Police values in all interactions.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

  • You must hold a current New Zealand driver's licence.
  • You must reside within a commutable distance to Wellington.
  • Ability to obtain a Bronze PPDP grading.
