- Create a culture of high performance, teamwork and customer service through effective leadership and communication, to maximise utilisation of teams.
- Effectively and efficiently manage regional teams of inspectors, technicians and engineering surveyors to meet operational requirements.
- Multitasking and balancing multiple priorities, from scheduling, execution through to timesheets and invoicing meeting business processes.
- Take accountability for the P&L and lead the growth and efficiency of your regions Regulatory business.
- Develop and grow the business through identification of business opportunities across the South Island Region.
- Maintaining key clients within our business through relationship building and business development strategies.
- Add value to the business by carrying out Inspections and identifying new opportunities.
- Practical experience from within the Engineering sector, preferably in a Management role.
- Ability to lead high performing teams of engineering/technical specialists and administrators.
- Must be able to multitask and communicate effectively.
- Exposure to financials i.e. finance for non-finance essential.
- Extensive industry experience with a thorough understanding of statutory and safety requirements.
- Preferably hold a Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Ideally hold the relevant CBIP qualifications for this position (ideally a minimum of two CBIP qualifications and signatory status).
