About the RoleThis role is all about understanding the current roading network and planning for the future. Upgrades, improvements, new projects - combine your technical capability with analytical and strategic thinking to make the network work! Numbers and data will be your thing, as will writing business cases, making recommendations, and answering technical queries. If you're an engineer who likes planning and making a tangible difference to a community, this role is for you. This is a permanent position with a salary range of $110,000 to $125,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.
  • Develop and implement asset management systems.
  • Research transport improvements, develop transport solutions and provide technical support.
  • Determine implications on the roading network.
  • Get involved in forward works planning and project management.

Skills & Experience
  • You'll have a relevant Engineering degree and experience in Asset Management, Transport Planning or Traffic Engineering.
  • Understand local government requirements and roading networks.
  • Experience in data analysis, long term planning, business case development.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, written and verbal.
