The scope of your specialist will include:What will I be doing?· Ensure Housekeeping Manager is kept fully aware of all relevant feedback from both guests and other departments.· Assist other departments with activities as appropriate and directed by the Housekeeping Manager.· Attend and participate in regular communication meetings and nominated training sessions.· Have a positive impact, taking personal responsibility and initiative to resolve issues, always clearly communicating with both guests and team members.· Maintain high team focus by showing co-operation and support to colleagues in the pursuit of team goals.· Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational/environmental procedures in the Hotel.· Use initiatives in assisting other team members while the business demand is low, proactively adding value to the hotel’s bottom line.· Be able to build up strong rapport with team members, helping to improve the synergy in the department as well as in the hotel.· Work as and enjoy being part of a team, pulling together to provide excellent service.\· Be fully aware of the hotel’s health and safety and fire regulations, and to carry them out according to procedures, ensuring that you maintain a comprehensive understanding and adhere to fire, safety and hygiene policies.· Be fully conversant with the Hotel Emergency and Evacuation procedures.What are we looking for?A Housekeeping Professional, serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
  • High school graduate and attended skills training school.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the housekeeping department is advantageous.
  • English literate to meet business needs.
  • Good knowledge of housekeeping’s daily operations on guest floors is advantageous.
  • Flexible with working hours, able to work morning / evening shifts, weekends and public holidays.
  • Good knowledge of chemical usage and cleaning rooms is advantageous.
