Job Description Back country dry stock farm Manager. Job potentially flexible depending on skills. Also potential as a couples job. Minimum requirement would be the day to day running of a 300ha farm. Ideally able or trained into seasonal management of there farm meeting production goals and keeping up with farm maintenance with minimal supervision. Beautiful farm located in the back of the Hawkes bay. Very quiet dead end road so very peaceful environment. Surrounded by bush and rivers is a paradise if you are into outdoor activities. Town is about 50mins to a hour so important to find someone that is happy that far from shops and town etc. Very good environment and multiple farms under same management located in the same road that are very friendly, welcoming and treat each other like family. This is an intensive pasture only beef operation that takes more skills then your average dry stock farm. Training is available but potential candidate must be willing to work hard and be trained into there roles. These farms are top beef producers so farm standards must be met. If you are looking for a challenge but a peaceful back country farm where you never have to get up early to milk cows then maybe enquire into this one. Ideal candidate has a great attitude, 2-10 years experience in beef or dairy. Ideally but not compulsory to have current working dog or dogs able to shift cattle efficiently. Awesome country kindy and school near by for ages 3-12. No high schools or buses for high school kids unfortunately.
