Te Ropu Wahine Māori Toko i te Ora | The Māori Women's Welfare League is seeking anEvents Manager to lead the delivery of our major national events across 2025 and 2026. This is an opportunity to be involved in two significant annual conferences as well as the League's 75th Anniversary celebrations which include a landmark exhibition at Te Papa.The Events Manager will oversee all aspects of event logistics and programming, from engaging speakers and managing venues through to coordinating travel, merchandise, and cultural protocols. You will also drive sponsorship opportunities and ensure strong relationships with partners and key stakeholders. With responsibility for budgets, you'll track expenditure, report on variances, and ensure all events are delivered within financial parameters.We're looking for someone with proven experience in large-scale event management, excellent project management skills, and strong financial acumen.
