Hourly rate of $23.61 - $28.25 per hour
Permanent Full-time.
AM, PM, Nights and weekend shifts

As a Caregiver at Waiapu House Lifecare, no two days will be the same, but you can be certain that each day you will leave work feeling fulfilled knowing that you've made a big difference in somebody else's day. Work together in a team to provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment for our residents
Follow individual resident care plans
Form lasting relationships with residents and their whanāu | family
Adapt and support your wider team members to create a great team environment

He pūkenga tou | Skills & Experience

A great team spirit with empathy and drive to make a difference in the lives of others
Good communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate with residents, their families and your team members
Be familiar with computers and have the ability to learn new systems
Minimum NZQA Level 2 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, or a relevant New Zealand or overseas qualification desirable but not essential as on-the-job training will be provided.
Understanding of Nga Paerewa sectors standards and applying the Treaty of Waitangi standards in the workplace.
