We live by our REAL values – Respect, Energy & Effort, Attitude, Leadership – and we demonstrate these through the good work we do, every day, as one team.Nau mai haere mai ki tā mātou whānau | Welcome to our Fulton Hogan FamilyWe’re looking for an experienced Concrete Specialist, reporting out of the yard in East Tamaki, Auckland.You will have hands-on experience in all aspects of concrete work, including pouring, finishing, formwork, and curing. You’ll need to be skilled in using a range of concrete tools and machinery.The project scope covers work through minor road and safety improvements, intersections, town centre safety upgrades, busways, bus stops, pedestrian ways, improved crossing points and more. Working effectively in a small team is key to completing our projects on time.In addition to the above, you'll:

Setting up forms, reinforcements, and barriers, ensuring surfaces are clean and ready for concrete placement.
Accurately mixing concrete to required specifications, and pouring it into prepared forms or areas.
Using finishing tools to smooth, texture, and shape concrete surfaces.
Safely using power tools, pumps, screeds, and other machinery associated with concrete work.
Provide input into tailgate to ensure safety onsite.
Cleaning and maintaining tools and machinery as/when required.
Adhering to health and safety requirements and using protective gear.
Conduct general labourer duties in all forms to ensure completion of work.

We’re looking for someone with:

Must have 3 years of continuous experience working as a concrete labourer.
Able to conduct finishing in various methods is ideal.
Must hold a Class 1 Full NZ drivers licence.
Knowledge of locating and detecting, underground services is desirable.
Able to work weekdays, weekends and nights as/when required

The guarantee hours are minimum 40 hours per week, however this department can work longer hours as needed to fulfil the days task, when working with concrete.Good Work equals Good Benefits
