How about swapping the workshop floor for one of the most breathtaking backdrops in Aotearoa?We're on the lookout for a mechanic to join our tight-knit team at Dart River Adventures. This is more than just a job - it's a chance to work in a truly unique environment, where no two days are the same and your skills help power unforgettable experiences for our manuhiri (guests).What you'll be doing:
  • Diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining our fleet of high-performance twin-engine jet boats
  • Working on a variety of vehicles, plant, and equipment
  • Ensuring everything is safe, reliable, and looking sharp
  • Supporting a dynamic tourism operation in one of the most scenic spots in the country
What we're looking for:
  • A trade qualification in mechanical or engineering fields
  • Strong diagnostic skills across marine engines, vehicles, and plant
  • A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a team player mindset
  • General engineering skills (lathe, mill, MIG/TIG welding) and experience with aluminium/stainless steel are a bonus
  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as needed
