The role/Te mahiWe have an opportunity for a proactive, organised, and enthusiastic candidate to join our team as an Administrator within the School of Biomedical Sciences. As a member of our team, you'll play a vital part in providing support to the Department of Anatomy. From providing crucial administrative support to being the friendly face welcoming staff and students and being a team player, your contribution will be invaluable.Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing general, academic and HR administration support to a large, research active department.
  • Meeting support, minute taking, and coordinating logistics for events.
You will also be involved in providing other essential general administrative support to a busy academic department, adding variety to your day.Skills and experience/Kā pūkeka me kā wheakoSuccessful candidates will have:
  • Previous experience in a busy and/or complex administrative environment.
  • A knack for building strong relationships and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Organisational prowess and attention to detail that ensures nothing slips through the cracks.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, adapting seamlessly to changing priorities.
  • A calm and adaptable nature, ready to tackle challenges in our fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine commitment to making a positive impact on our students, staff, and visitors.
