You will work 8-hour shifts on a rostered and rotating basis, with a workload equivalent to 0.8 full-time employment over 54 weeks in your programme based either at Capital and Coast or Hutt Valley. This arrangement allows you to strike a balance between your clinical responsibilities, commitments to the Midwifery First Year of Practice (MFYP), and personal life. Once the programme is completed you will transfer onto the permanent midwife roster.Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our teamWe have supportive teams who nurture our new graduates and each other. Our senior teams include the Director of Midwifery, Associate Directors of Midwifery and Midwife Managers. Our obstetric teams are respectful and collaborative.
