- Manage a portfolio of accounts ensuring high quality customer service is always provided, which may include self-servicing of small to mid-sized client accounts under supervision of Client Executives
- Assist Client Executives in all aspects of client service including face-to-face client contact, administration, technical support, and business development
- Develop and maintain effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers and monitor political, management, and other changes within client organisations to preserve and protect the company’s relationship with the client
- Take a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards
- Experience in fire and general insurance
- New Zealand Certificate in Financial Advice (Level 5) or a clear plan to achieve this within a reasonable timeframe
- Demonstrated experience in the insurance industry
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good working knowledge of all aspects of insurance and relevant legislation
- Corporate broking/insurance experience
- Insurance qualifications such as ANZIIF or similar
