- Identify hazards and support incident prevention and resolution
- Assist in risk containment and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Engage employees in safety initiatives and maintain accurate reporting
- Support daily manufacturing operations to meet availability, performance, and quality targets
- Lead initiatives to optimise equipment effectiveness and reduce waste
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with best practices
- Use data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Recommend and manage capital expenditure proposals for operational enhancements
- Champion and lead continuous improvement projects across production and engineering
- Apply problem-solving tools to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
- Drive cost reduction and efficiency gains through process innovation
- Challenge existing practices to ensure relevance and value
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, and external contractors
- Provide engineering expertise and support across teams
- Lead and participate in strategic planning and project execution
- Facilitate training and smooth transitions for new systems and installations
- Foster an inclusive and improvement-focused team culture
- Lead by example and support the Production Manager in achieving KPIs
- Inspire and motivate peers to deliver their best
- Contribute to strategic decisions and organisational growth
