P&L Management & Strategy Development
- Lead the development of annual business plans and budgets, covering sales, gross profit, and expense control.
- Create sales strategies to meet revenue targets and align all territory plans to the business unit's goals.
- Develop marketing campaigns to foster business growth.
- Assist the Sales & Marketing Director with board reporting on sales results and commercial updates.
- Oversee pricing for non-contract products and collaborate on tender processes.
- Lead and inspire a team of product specialists, ensuring that territory plans are executed effectively.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to drive team effectiveness.
- Cascade strategic direction and set KPIs for the team.
- Foster staff recruitment, development, and succession planning to attract and retain top talent
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of market trends that impact the business unit.
- Manage the marketing plan, ensuring that marketing expenditures are within budget.
- Ensure all product training and launches align with the business unit's objectives and regulatory standards.
- Build strong relationships with key healthcare professionals, suppliers, and decision-makers.
- Lead the renewal of supplier distribution agreements and identify new growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with key accounts and business managers to maximise sales opportunities.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Science, Marketing, Management).
- 5+ years of experience in the healthcare sector, with team management experience.
- Experience in multinational organisations is desirable.
- Proven track record in sales management, building relationships, and executing strategic business plans.
- No visa restrictions – candidates must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
