- Ensuring a seamless customer experience from start to finish to maintain effective customer relationships to maximise repeat business.
- Collaborate with the Finance and Service department regarding delivery date and further details to ensure a seamless process for the customer.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to sales activities, inventory and customer interactions.
- Assisting the Used Vehicle Manager with leadership and day-to-day duties and responsibilities.
- Carry out appraisals (alongside the Used Vehicle Manager) of trade-in vehicles, buy in opportunities and actively seek out stock purchases to maintain and allow increased volume of used vehicle sales.
- Assist the Used Vehicle Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to maximise profitability and achieve sales targets set out by Toyota New Zealand.
- Stay on top of market and industry trends, competitor activities and customer preferences.
- Uphold and enforce Toyota's Used Vehicle Standards.
- Develop a variety of ideas and options to solve problems and challenges.
- Proven dealership experience with strong sales experience in the automotive industry is a MUST!
- Experience in appraising and buying of vehicles also a MUST!
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions that best suites the customer and the company.
- Extensive knowledge of the different vehicle models and trends currently on the market.
- Experience with TUNZ / RevolutionNext is advantageous, but not essential.
- High level of motivation and drive, with the ability to multi-task.
- High standard of personal presentation.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and communicate effectively with the sales team and other management team members as well as departments.
- Valid, full and clean driver's license essential.
