They firmly believe that their people are the driving force behind their achievements, and they embrace the power of possibility and that no goal is beyond their reach.Job DescriptionAs the Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the engineering function across the five manufacturing plants at Quality Bakers Auckland. No two days will be the same, and you will be kept busy and challenged as you lead an engineering team of 35, manage projects and maintenance, and foster a culture of engineering excellence.You'll collaborate across departments, injecting forward thinking, planning and efficiency into engineering processes.QualificationsYour impressive track record as an Engineering Manager in the Food, Beverage, or Baking Industry sets you up for success in this role. Your ability to bring people together, to drive change and optimisation to the engineering function is critical.Your expert knowledge will be instrumental in optimising and elevating every aspect of our baking plant's efficient operations. To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following: -

Demonstrated Senior Engineering Management Experience in the Food, Beverage, or baking industry.
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
Multi-plant experience advantageous.
Strong GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) and quality standards
A positive leader with a proactive and genuine approach, fostering an environment of openness, trust and collaboration at all levels.
Demonstrated project management expertise, in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, and familiarity with relevant industry standards.
Experience with automation advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal and change management skills.
