With a primary hub in Wellington, our ICT group is at the heart of this progressive journey, operating under a modern product delivery model that empowers cross-functional teams to deliver value continuously and iteratively.As the Product Manager Platforms, you will lead the development and evolution of foundational infrastructure services, with a remit that spans platform operations, virtualisation, containerisation, cloud, databases, storage, integration and identity technologies. In this role you will provide the vision for our core infrastructure platforms and lead a team of highly skilled Technical Product Owners, each responsible for key areas including:
  • The overall platforms assets, datacentres, environments, monitoring, life cycling, provisioning and operational functions.
  • The core platforms team delivering reliable and secure virtualisation, containerisation and cloud capability.
  • The Data Infrastructure team delivering robust database, storage and backups solutions.
  • The Integration and Middleware team managing integration platforms and associated middleware services.
  • And delivery of secure Identity and Access Management services across the organisation.
Key AccountabilitiesWe seek a strong people leader who can:
  • Coach, develop and provide technical leadership to highly skilled engineering teams.
  • Bring strong relationship skills to collaborate widely with stakeholders, customers, vendors, and other product owners to deliver value from our platforms.
